Abstract: In 1984 Baouendi and Treves introduced the notion of sector property and proved that it is sufficient to the extendability of holomorphic functions on a domain D of finite type past its boundary. If D ⊂ \mathbb C² has type 4, then it is also necessary. We will discuss some generalizations.
