"The sector property and the extendability of holomorphic functions"

In 1984 Baouendi and Treves introduced the notion of sector property and proved that it is sufficient to the extendability of holomorphic functions on a domain D of finite type past its boundary. If D ⊂ \mathbb C² has type 4, then it is also necessary. We will discuss some generalizations.
